Vera Manzoni, Born in Lisbon in 1978.

Since a young age she always had a fascination for everything related to body adornments.

She grew up surrounded by beads and necklaces . Her grand father, Henrique Batalha, was one of the owners of the centenary commercial store, Casa Batalha.

Despite the family business being related to bijouterie, her interest was for something more precious. Jewelry. In 1995 she attended António Arroio secondary school for Jewelry and Metals. For a two year period she also attended AR.CO (art school) for jewelry. Vera Manzoni graduated in jewelry design in the School of Art and Design in Oporto.

Until 2005 she worked at Atelier PLUM where she also had a showroom with her work. She shared the workplace with five other jewelry designers.

In 2016 she moved to Largo da Trindade Nº 20 where she works and has a showroom with her creations.

MORE stands for bijouterie, which she was born knowing and which awakened her interest for jewelry. Her work is then divided in this two areas. In what jewelry is concerned, she accepts orders for custom made jewels and there is always a collection in the workshop showroom

Minimalism and discretion are not strong in these parts, since the service jeweler rarely resists the temptations of color and apparatus. The creations are also not always classic necklaces, rings , earrings and bracelets.
Here, we see leaving the door, hair accessories , accessories for a party dress and until now there were times when the creative genius of Vera gave rise to hats and bags.
The increase in orders and the growth of Vera Manzoni Jewelry & More did not demote her from the work bench. Soldering, filing and emboss are tasks that still are not set aside for this Lisbon born artisan
